EverHome is committed to making our website and homeowner portal usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Our commitment
We design and test EverHome against WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility is part of our ongoing design and engineering process, not a one-time project.
Measures we take
Steps we take to keep EverHome accessible include the following.
- Semantic structure, landmarks, and headings for screen reader navigation.
- Keyboard operability for interactive controls, with visible focus states.
- Color contrast that meets AA minimums for text and essential UI.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Respecting reduced-motion and browser zoom settings.
